Book Review on "Extreme Science"

Book Review on "Extreme Science"

There have been many different and fascinating things throughout history of science like extracting a man’s soul from his body, transplanting a human head from one neck to another, human’s effort to talk to dolphins, and scientists thinking of traveling through time. These and other may strange experiments are part of the human history. The book ‘Extreme Science’ has illustrated this and many similar scientific experiments and breakthroughs. This book has been written by Phil Clarke and published by Chart well Books, Inc.
The idea of Extreme Science is controversial, as it challenges everything – nature, morality, the government, the law and sometimes man’s own body and mind.
This book covers many scientific efforts made by scientists over a period of 100 of years from the Medieval ages to the 21st century. The topics ranges from the cybernetics to time travel to genetic engineering to mind control and galvanism
The book has been divided into a very structured way… each part covers a variety of topics and explains the story with great illustration and details. A very fascinating read is about Robots, Cyborgs and Wormholes, where the author has described the concept of Cyborgs and the art of cloning. The successful cloning of Dolly the Sheep should be read with great interest.
This book has been written in a very interesting manner, and the reader is glued to it when he/she starts reading. The extreme scientific, experiments whether successful or not, have been presented with all the facts, background story, and the persons involved. This is also supported by the conclusion about the experiment and the way it has helped in the progress of the scientific experiments.
The society asks a simple question “Just because you can do something does that mean you should?” When you read this book, you shall keep in mind this question and probably this book would take you through to your imagination in finding the answer.
This book is a masterpiece and should be considered as a compendium of technological leaps, groundbreaking discoveries and scientific breakthroughs.
