A spooky adventure

A spooky adventure Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. I was walking on dead leaves in a forest where hardly anyone came. I was here searching for a camper named Jonathan Roberts who got lost here. Our Rescuing People from Dangerous Places (RPDP) team had been getting reports of people who got lost here for years. Our leader decided to end this mystery by sending me and my partner Stephen to the forest of death, the name of the forest where the person is reported lost. We arrived in the forest the next day. After we installed our tent and had some food, we started exploring the forest. The people who lived outside the forest believed that a spirit roamed the forest. While exploring, we came across a bloody shoe which was ripped a bit. It sent my spine stiff. We took it back to the tent and scanned the blood. We made a horrific discovery; the blood was of...

Positive routine changes due to COVID-19

Positive routine changes due to COVID-19 Life was going on normally, minus the fact that the novel coronavirus had engulfed the world, when the government announced of early holidays till 30 th May. The mothers surely must have been cursing it, but the students were over the moon. Now that the students were not going to school, the routine could not remain the same. So, I will describe the changes in my routine due to COVID-19.   Because of the corona virus, we are not allowed to step out of our homes. There have been positive changes in our routine: Now we are spending more time together as a family by playing indoor games and watching television. We also have reading sessions every day.   We have an equal time to study and for spending leisure time. We have ample time to do extra-curricular activities like programming, taking online courses, etc. Reading books is also a good way to spend time. Also, a ...

Why Pakistan Armed Forces are the best in the world?

Why Pakistan Armed Forces are the best in the World ?         The enemy dared to attack our country on 6 September, 1965 which triggered anger across the nation. I always wondered what was the one key point which helped Pakistan survived against an enemy having five-times more soldiers and latest equipment? When I discussed this with my elders, teachers and studied about this war, I’ve got to understand that our courageous armed forces and the nation stood together to successfully defend, and perpetrate a humiliating defeat on the aggressor. Since that war in 1965, Pakistan has seen many ups and downs. Today, our country is much stronger. This has become possible due to the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs and war veterans of our nation and specifically our Armed Forces. Our armed forces stand fully capable to defeat all sorts of external aggression. Our army has developed the best tactics and formations which enable it to overcome much larger and b...

Visit to State Bank of Pakistan Museum Recently, I visited the newly-inaugurated State Bank Museum, which is in Karachi. It was a trip that I will never forget, like a richly-colored dream. It was the 31st of December, 2019 when I visited the State Bank Museum. We entered through the main State Bank entrance and out into the courtyard of the Museum, which ,formerly, housed the Imperial Bank of India. It  is a Greco Roman building in Jodhpuri Red Sandstone constructed in the 1920s by the British government. In 2004, the State Bank of Pakistan  decided to adapt the building as a museum, and work on the projects started in 2006 was devoted to conservation of the building and acquisition of the collection. The Museum is divided into many different parts, each boasting its collection for e.g, Coin galleries, Currency galleries, old shredding machines which shredded old and dirty currency notes etc. Also, there was an area devoted to the arts and paintings of the celebrated P...
